The Otahki Girl Scout Council recently presented the Silver Award to 50 Cadette Girl Scouts. The Silver Award is the second highest recognition given in Girl Scouts in grades seven through nine. Amber Henson and Carrie Huffman from Fredericktown were recipients of the Silver Award.

The Silver Award Girl Scouts from Jackson were Kara Brase, Dawn Galnore, Emilie Le Febvre, Emily Reisenbichler, Stephanie Schneider, Staci Wendel and Dana Wills.

The Perryville recipients included Deanna Anderson, Emily Besand, Kimberly Brown, Dawn Chappius, Aimee Clements, Angela Comte, Jessica Duvall, Becky Favier, Jennifer Geiler, Lindsey Gotto, Emily Hotop, Stephanie Krauss, Holly Lappe, Timna Lowes, Michele Phillips, Maria Pontillas, Debra Rellergert, Jolene Renner, Aarica Schumer, Erica Stearns and Amy Tucker.

The Otahki Girl Scout Council has 228 Cadette Girl Scouts and a total membership of 3,683.
