Members of the Southeast Missourian online staff began offering the classes last spring, and reintroduced them in August. The same class is offered twice each month and has been a sell-out each time. Participants have ranged in age from 8 to 94.

The class is geared to beginners who want to learn more about the Internet and World Wide Web. Practical surfing tips will be offered along with a number of handouts and a free gift.

Six staff members from SEMissourian.com, the official web site of the Southeast Missourian, will be on hand to direct students.

Each class is limited to 38 people since each person will have a computer.

Future classes will be held on the second Monday and third Wednesday of each month.
