HILLSBORO, Mo. (AP) -- A Festus woman has been sentenced to consecutive life terms for helping her boyfriend kill her 73-year-old father on his front porch.

Crystal York, 28, received the sentence on Wednesday after accepting a plea deal for second-degree murder. She also pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery and armed criminal action after originally being charged with first-degree murder in the 2006 death of Bill York, who was found dead on the porch of his mobile home.

Crystal York and her boyfriend, 32-year-old Ryan Gross, stabbed and shot Bill York on Aug. 30, 2006, then were caught two days later in Little Rock, Ark.

Gross was sentenced to life in prison in May after accepting a similar plea deal.
