A variety of entertainment is scheduled for the Balloons & Arts Festival '96 at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.
Headlining Friday night will be Rob Caudill, who will present a Rod Stewart tribute called "Tonight's the Night."
Caudill and his band will perform at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. at the Main Stage.
Admission is free with $4 admission to the grounds.
Continuous live entertainment will be provided Saturday. The Tom Bonham Puppets will perform at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and the River City Ramblers Dixieland Band will play at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
Accompanying the Balloon Glow and tethered rides at 7 p.m. Saturday will be the Austin Ellis Band, who play music from the '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s.
In addition, many activities are scheduled for children (see accompanying schedule).
Three-day passes are available for the festival for $5 each. They can be obtained at Schnucks locations, at Clas Computers, 2041 Independence, and at the Arts Council office, 6 N. Sprigg St.
