The FEMA disaster recovery center at the Salvation Army in Cape Girardeau will close Saturday, according to a news release from the agency.

The center offers in-person support to individuals and businesses in the Missouri counties affected by the Jan. 21 federal disaster declaration.

The center will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Recovery specialists from several agencies will be available until close of business Saturday to discuss aid and assist with applications, the release said.

People still needing help after Saturday may get help at other centers. Information on locations is available at fema.gov/drc.

Help is also available by calling the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week until further notice.
