FEMA opens disaster recovery center for storm victims

The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the State Emergency Management Agency have opened a Disaster Recovery Center at Meadow Heights School, 1 Highway 72 E. in Patton, Mo., for six days beginning Monday. Hours of operation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 18. The center will provide resources for people affected by the May 8 and May 16 severe storms, tornadoes and flooding. The service is available to all Missourians regardless of their county of residence.
