The following information was released by the office of federal prosecutor Catherine Hanaway for defendants who appeared in federal court Thursday before U.S. District Judge Rodney W. Sippel:
Age: 27
Residence: Sikeston, Mo.
Charge: Convicted felon in possession of firearms.
Sentence range: Up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Details: Officers were called to Todd's house Nov. 23 and seized a 12-gauge shotgun and a .22-caliber rifle. Sentencing was set for Dec. 18.
Name: Rozell Edwards
Age: 45
Residence: Tamms, Ill.
Charge: Convicted felon in possession of firearms.
Sentence range: Up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
Details: Edwards was stopped for a traffic violation Oct. 28 in Cape Girardeau. He was arrested and when his vehicle was searched, officers found a .357-caliber pistol under the driver's seat and a 12-gauge shotgun in the trunk. Sentencing was set for Dec. 18.
