The Jackson High School Future Business Leaders of America made a strong showing during recent district FBLA competition held at Scott City High School.

A total of 22 students received first and second place trophies during the competition. They will advance to the state meet later in the year. Nine others earned third-, fourth- and fifth-place honors.

Students earning first place spots in the competition: Terri Wachter, Accounting I; John Popp, Accounting II; Jon Mark Milde, Business Communications II; Erica Trickey, Business Law; Jeremy Kuntze, Business Math; Kevin Goodier, Computer Concepts; Garrett Sparks, Economics; Chriss Britt, Impromptu Speaking; Chris Dittmer, information processing concepts; Matt Pourney, Introduction to Business and Erin Friedrich, Public Speaking.
