The FBI is asking the public for help identifying a suspected child molester.

In a news release Wednesday, the agency reported the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children had recorded images and video of the unidentified man engaging in "sexually explicit activities" with a child in November 2012.

Investigators enhanced the images of the man and found clues that may help identify him, including details of his clothing, glasses and surroundings, the release stated.

Agents do not know the man's name or whereabouts, according to the release.

The FBI is asking anyone who recognizes the man or has information about who or where he might be to submit a tip online at https://tips.fbi.gov or call 800-225-5324.
