KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The FBI is looking for a 75-year-old bank robber who stole a $200,000 cashier's check and used the money a few hours later to buy an unusual getaway vehicle: A 2002 Holiday Rambler motor home.

The motor home has all the features a discerning bank robber could want, including a six-speaker CD player, a pair of color televisions and a queen-size bed.

FBI spokesman Jeff Lanza did not name the suspect, describing him only as a 75-year-old white male who is probably wearing an "I can't believe I got away with this!" expression on his face. Lanza said they know who the man is, but are withholding his name until charges are filed.

The FBI is asking for the public to look for the motor home -- an Endeavor model, tan, with three slideouts and temporary tags.

According to Lanza, the robber stopped at Winterset State Bank in Harrisonville around 8:30 a.m. Friday and demanded a $200,000 cashier's check. Because the robber had what looked like a gun stuffed in his belt, the clerk complied.

"We've never had a bank robbery where they asked for a cashier's check," Lanza said.
