Farmington man Nathan Wright, 44, charged with multiple crimes following break-ins at Cape Girardeau's Knights of Columbus, faces felony and misdemeanor charges; held on $20,000 bond.

A Farmington man has been charged with several crimes involving recent break-ins at the Knights of Columbus in Cape Girardeau.

A release from Cape Girardeau Police Department says officers conducted a traffic stop at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, in Cape Girardeau and made contact with Nathan Wright, 44.

He was a suspect in the July 19 and July 29 break-ins at the organization's property in the 300 block of South Spanish Street.

During the break-ins, about $400 was taken.

Cape Girardeau County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has charged Wright with felony receiving stolen property and second-degree burglary, as well as two misdemeanors for stealing.

Wright is currently being held in lieu of $20,000 cash only bond.
