FAMILY GROUP PLANS GATHERING AT CITY HALL

As part of the observance of National Day of Prayer on Thursday, Cape County American Family Association will sponsor "Meet Me at City Hall."

Concerned citizens are asked to meet at City Hall, 401 Independence, or the flagpole at the courthouse in Jackson, from 12:20-12:40 p.m.

A gathering for women with a desire to pray especially for children will be held from 1-1:30 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

A spokesperson said this is a time of prayer for our cities, state, nation and families.

The public is invited.
