FALL RALLY FEATURES CHILD ABUSE TOPIC

POCAHONTAS -- The Lutheran Family and Children's Services Auxiliary Fall Rally will be held Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church here beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Mara Berry will speak on "Child Abuse." She is a coordinator of Family Life Enrichment at Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri.

She is known in St. Louis as a trainer, educator and group facilitator in the area of parenting skills.

A spokesperson said Berry's interest in child sexual abuse emerges from her work with parents and concern for the rights of children.
