The Exchange Club of Cape Girardeau will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holiday Inn. The club is actively seeking new members and anyone interested in joining the service club is urged to attend. The Exchange Club of Cape Girardeau will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Holiday Inn. The club is actively seeking new members and anyone interested in joining the service club is urged to attend.

Since it was established in 1954, the club has been involved in numerous community betterment projects such as construction of picnic shelters in area parks, and establishment of Freedom Shrines at City Hall, Kent Library at Southeast Missouri State University, and at various area schools.

Members are involved in programs to help promote and support area youth including Youth of the Month and Young Citizens Award. The club has also adopted Dennis Scivally Park and holds an annual work day at the park.

Club meetings are at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Tuesdays each month at Holiday Inn.
