ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- A St. Charles woman who stole nearly $11,000 from a high school booster club won't do jail time for the crime, but she's required to pay back the money.

Jane Elizabeth Windorski, 45, pleaded guilty to felony theft and was sentenced to five years in jail but with a suspended sentence. Also at a hearing last week, she was given two years to pay back the $10,877 taken from the St. Charles High School Booster Club.

Windorski was treasurer of the club when she made withdrawals to gamble at a casino and make other personal expenditures.
