CAPE GIRARDEAU -- The Community Counseling Center will present a series of classes and lectures beginning in March.
Three classes will be offered during March and April: active parenting, assertiveness training and active parenting of teens.
Classes will meet once a week for five weeks and will cost $30 for an individual or $50 for a couple.
Free public lectures are scheduled from March through May.
Lectures planned include: conflict resolution, March 14; surviving childhood sexual abuse, April 4; making peace with your body, April 17; and understanding psychiatric medications, May 9.
The presentations will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. in the atrium of the center.
