The following events and classes have been canceled for Monday, Feb. 11. The MOSMART event Senator Bond had scheduled has been cancelled again due to weather. The following events and classes have been canceled for Monday, Feb. 11.

The MOSMART event Senator Bond had scheduled has been cancelled again due to weather. The event for 10:30 a.m. was a second attempt to meet with local law enforcement about MOSMART after the original Feb. 1 meeting was canceled because of a heavy snow.

The Cape Girardeau County Road and Bridge Advisory Board meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. is canceled.

The Cape Girardeau Tree Advisory Board meeting scheduled for 12 p.m. is canceled.

The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Advisory Board meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. is canceled.

Cape Girardeau County government is closing at noon.

The offices of the Bollinger County government is closed.

Rubbermaid in Jackson is canceling the 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. second shift.

Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt has also canceled his appearances throughout the state today, including one in Kennett.

Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder also canceled his speaking engagements for his re-election bid around the state.

The City of Cape Girardeau is also encouraging business to close their doors early today.

Southeast Missouri State University has postponed its lecture, "DeSoto and the Death of the Mississippians," that was scheduled tonight at the Crisp Museum. The lecture is now scheduled for Feb. 19.

Southeast Missouri State University, 11 a.m. Classes at Sikeston, Kennett and Malden were also canceled.

Advance School District, 9:30 a.m.

Altenburg School District, 11 a.m.

Cape Girardeau School District, 10:30 a.m. for secondary; 11:15 a.m. for elementary.

Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center classes for Monday evening have been cancelled.

Chaffee School District, 10:30 a.m.

Delta School District, 10 a.m.

Jackson School District, 10:30 a.m.

Immaculate Conception School, 10:30 a.m. Parent-teacher conferences for this evening are cancelled and will be rescheduled.

Kelly School District, 11 a.m.

The Kelly girls basketball game versus Scott County Central for this evening has been cancelled. It has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday.

Kelso School District, 11 a.m.

Meadow Heights R-2 dismissed at 9:15 a.m.

Metro Business College closed at 10:30 a.m. due to the weather. Plans for tomorrow¹s schedule will be made later.

Nell Holcomb School District, 10:30 a.m.

Oak Ridge School District released students at 10 a.m. Conferences are postponed.

Oran School District released students at 10:30 a.m. Girls basketball v. St. Vincent¹s High School of Perryville, Mo., has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday.

Perry County 32 School District, 11 a.m. Girls basketball for this evening has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Friday.

Scott City School District, elementary 10:45 a.m., middle and high school, 11:15 a.m.

Cape Christian School, 10:30 a.m.

Eagle Ridge Christian School, 10 a.m. Tonight¹s basketball game at West Frankfort, Ill., is canceled.

Notre Dame Regional High School, 10 a.m. Basketball game at St. Louis canceled.

St. Paul Lutheran School in Jackson, 10:30 a.m.

St. Augustine School in Kelso, 10:45 a.m.

St. Denis School in Benton, 11 a.m.

St. Joseph School in Scott City, 11:15 a.m.

St. Mary's School in Cape Girardeau, 10:30 a.m.

St. Vincent de Paul in Cape Girardeau, 10:30 a.m.

St. Ambrose in Chaffee, 10:30 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran School in Cape Girardeau, 10:30 a.m., girls basketball game canceled.
