MAY 4-6 Fort D Days: Fort D, a Civil War fort in Cape Girardeau, will play host to Fort D Days, with a living history encampment and history demonstrations, food, live music and cannon fire. Admission is free.

MAY 4 Pennies from Heaven Benefit Auction: The Southeast Missouri Hospital Foundation will host a dinner auction at the A.C. Brase Arena Building at 5 p.m. All proceeds go to benefit patient care services at Southeast Missouri Hospital. For more information call 334-9254.
