Don Huey has joined Eugene's Hair Salon in Crossroads Retail and Office Center, Kingshighway and Independence.

Huey has more than 18 years of experience as a cosmetologist. He owned a salon on the strip in Las Vegas for six years. He previously served as artistic director for Hair Performers in the St. Louis area and as director of education for Glenby International.

Huey is one of four new full-time stylists at Eugene's, which has expanded its services to include 10 staff members, including an aesthetician (facial expert) who will be at the shop on a part-time basis.

"We have added four new stations at the salon," said Martha Parsons. "We have also added the aesthetician who will be here the third week of each month.

Giac Ghianna, owner of Ghianna Aesthetics Limited at St. Louis, will devote one week of each month to facial treatments at Eugene's.

"Ghianna specializes in 83 different treatments for the face," said Parsons. "He was here in September, and will return the week of Oct. 19."

Tracy Moore, Joey McDaniels and Nikki Scott, all graduates of Stage One The Hair School in Cape Girardeau, have joined the staff.

McDaniels, a native of Houston, Texas, also attended a barber college for five months in Atlanta, Ga., before moving to Cape Girardeau.
