ENGGEMENTS: MILLBURG-HOOD

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Millburg of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Sheila Lynn Millburg, to Matthew Kenneth Hood, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Millburg is a 1992 graduate of Notre Dame High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in special education from Union University in Jackson, Tenn., in 1996. She is employed by Colorado Springs School District 11, and Sylvan Learning Center.

Hood is a 1990 graduate of Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs. He received a bachelor of environmental design with an emphasis in architecture from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1994. He is employed at Barnes Architects and is pursuing an architectural license.

A Sept. 30 wedding is planned at the Garden of the Gods Club in Colorado Springs.
