Six Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America employees will be honored for employment service milestones during an awards banquet to be held at Port Cape Girardeau Restaurant in Cape Girardeau May 7.

Kirby Friese of Jackson will receive the top award during the banquet, for 30 years of service. Stanley Smith of Burfordville will receive a 25-year award.

Others to receive awards include Nicholas Moore of Jackson, for 20 years' service; Danny Borgfield, Ricky King and Norman Watson, all of Jackson, 10-year awards.

Safety awards will be presented to Gordon Feeney of Jackson, Ronald Garner of Lutesville, and to Stephen Brown, Borgfield, Tony Hammes and King, all of Jackson.

Natural Gas Pipeline Co. operates 13,000 miles of interstate transmission lines and other facilities in 12 states.
