U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson was the keynote speaker at the dedication ceremony Monday evening in Jackson for the Main Street Station building, home of the Lichtenegger, Weiss and Fetterhoff law office.

"It's important that we have a government that lets people build their small businesses, like this one, instead of building more government bureaucracy," Emerson told a crowd of about 75 people.

Emerson said her late husband, former U.S.representative Bill Emerson, dedicated the former Lichtenegger law office building and she was pleased to have the same honor for the new facility.
