The topic of the program will be the Joint Committee on the Organization of Congress, on which Emerson is one of 28 members. There are 14 members each from the House and Senate, with an equal party division.

Lee Hamilton of Indiana will represent the Democrats on the program. His segment will air from 7-7:45 a.m.

The lawmakers and the show's host will field telephone calls from across the nation.
