WASHINGTON -- U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson has a new section on her Web site that's designed to aid children in the wake of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.
The new section unveiled Monday is called "Helping Our Children." It can be found by logging on to Emerson's Web site at www.house. gov/emerson and clicking on the "Helping Our Children" link.
The Internet site provides information and activities for children, parents and teachers. It includes guidelines from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for dealing with terrorist attacks, letters on talking to kids from First Lady Laura Bush and information on America's Fund for Afghan Children, President Bush's initiative for children in America to help children in Afghanistan.
"I believe that there are things that we can all do to help our children through these tough times," Emerson said in announcing the Web site section.
