Elvis Museum needs a home

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The Elvis Is Alive Museum is once again for sale on eBay.

The museum's owner, Andy Key, says the National Guard will keep him away from home for at least five months.

The 39-year-old Key from Laurel, Miss., tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch he has set a minimum starting bid of $15,000 on the listing, which ends Friday.

Key said he hopes someone local will buy the contents of the museum and continue running it in Hattiesburg, Miss.

The museum was a roadside landmark in Wright City for 17 years and sold last year to Key, who reopened it in June in Hattiesburg.

Bill Beeny, a Baptist minister who ran the quirky collection in Wright City since 1990, says he has no plans to buy back the museum.
