ELKS NAME STUDENTS OF THE MONTH FOR MAY

Jamie Suedekum and Robert W. Dodson Jr. have been named Students of the Month for May by the Cape Girardeau Elk's Lodge 639.

Suedekum, 17, is a senior at Cape Girardeau Central High School. She is active in National Honor Society, Pep Club and Spanish Club. She is secretary of the Student Council and has been named to Who's Who Among American High School Students.

She is the daughter of Roger and Linda Suedekum of Cape Girardeau.

Dodson, 18, is a senior at Notre Dame High School. He plays varsity soccer and basketball and is a member of the National Honor Society, the Student Council, Students Against Driving Drunk, and the choir. He has also worked with the school's spring musicals. Dodson was also a National Merit Scholar finalist.

He is the son of Bob and Kim Dodson of Scott City.
