ELKS LODGE HONORS STUDENTS OF THE MONTH

Jenny Broom and Allison Knaup have been named Students of the Month for April by Cape Girardeau Elk's Lodge 639.

Broom, 18, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Broom of Cape Girardeau. She is a senior at Cape Girardeau Central High School, where she is involved with the tennis team, Spanish Club, Patriotic Club, Pep Club, Student Council and chamber choir. She was also named to All-District and All-State Choir.

Knaup, 17, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Knaup of Jackson. She is a senior at Notre Dame High School, where she is active in National Honor Society, Campus Ministry, SADD, and Spirit Club. She was selected to attend a World Affairs Seminar, Freedom Forum, Camp Enterprise and Missouri Teen Institute. She has also participated in the Notre Dame Christmas Tree lot, the annual spring musical, and served as volleyball manager for two years, and publications for two years.
