ELEMENTARY MATH WINNERS

Some 190 elementary students from 27 area schools competed in the 12th annual Missouri Elementary Student Mathematics Contest Saturday at Southeast Missouri State University.

They were tested on mathematical concepts and problem-solving.

Students who placed first, second or third were invited to compete in the state contest in Columbia on May 10.
