ELECTIONS SET IN COUNTY TOWNS AND WATER DISTRICT

Voters in Cape Girardeau County Water District 2 in the Burfordville and Gravel Hill areas will decide if a $1.5 million bond issue should be issued to drill a well, build a storage tower and lay water mains.

If voters say yes, the district will set water rates and charges to pay for the improvements. The bonds would be retired within 35 years.

In Gordonville, four people are running for two seats on the village board of trustees. Seeking election are Bill Dalton, Bradley J. Skelton, Randy Eggiman and Tim Goodman.

In Delta, Gary Anderson is unopposed in his bid for Ward 2 alderman. No one filed for the Ward 1 alderman's seat.

In Whitewater, Jerome Foster and Sharon Hale have filed for two seats on the board of trustees.

No candidates filed for a six-year term on the Gordonville Fire Protection District Board of Directors.

No candidates filed for two seats on the Oak Ridge Board of Trustees.

No candidates filed for three seats on the Dutchtown Board of Trustees.
