JACKSON -- A national teleconference, "Turning Recyclables into New Products, Growing Opportunities," will be held Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the University of Missouri Extension office, 815 Highway 25 South in Jackson.
The conference, sponsored by the Southeast Missouri Solid Waste Management District and Missouri Market Development Program, affords the opportunity to get current information on recycling and local business development.
The program features using recyclable materials, acquiring information on regulations and permits, and obtaining financing.
