Elderly woman dies in Perry County crash
UNIONTOWN, Mo. -- An elderly St. Mary, Mo., woman died Thursday night as a result of a one-vehicle car accident one mile north of Uniontown, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Leora E. Leora E. Price, 87, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred around 6:30 p.m. The driver, Robert E. Price, lost control of the vehicle after the left front tire blew out, according to the highway patrol. He traveled off the road and struck a tree.

He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was air lifted to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
