PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- The Perry County Sheriff's Department arrested eight people on felony drug charges, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

The arrests were a result of undercover investigations carried out by the sheriff's department, SEMO Drug Task Force and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the news release said.

Vicki L. Wilson, 40, Mary E. Simmons, 39, and Leroy B. Ohlendorf, 41, all of Perryville, were charged with felony distribution of a controlled substance. According to probable-cause affidavits, Wilson was charged after she sold approximately 8 ounces of marijuana to an undercover officer, Simmons after selling methadone pain killers and Ohlendorf after selling Adderall and Xanax.

Chauntel R. Lundmark, 22, and April D. Kannenberg, 18, were charged with the same felony distribution charges after selling Kannenberg's prescription Adderall pills to undercover officers from their home in Perryville, according to the probable-cause affidavit.

David G. Day, 37, and Megan F. Gallagher, 21, were charged with two counts each of felony distribution of a controlled substance near a school. Day and Gallagher twice sold marijuana to undercover officers from their home, which was approximately 150 feet from Immanuel Lutheran School in Perryville, according to the probable-cause affidavit.

The sheriff's department also arrested Danny E. Johnson Jr., 25, of Perryville on one charge of felony distribution of less than 5 grams of marijuana after selling about 1/4 of an ounce to an undercover officer.
