People Actively Promoting Education Reform will announce itself as a group at 2 p.m. March 30 at the Rose Theatre, 408 N. Pacific St.
Stacy Shore of Concerned Women for America of Missouri will be the speaker. In February, PAPER president David Larsen said the group wants to bring more of the community into school governance.
In a previous article, Larsen declined to reveal the name of his fellow officers, who are mainly from Cape Girardeau and Jackson, until the group's unveiling.
The March 30 meeting will be followed by another gathering at 6:30 p.m. March 31 at Delmonico's restaurant, 2951 Old Orchard Road, in Jackson for those inspired by the first meeting.
