Eateries, Inc., has announced that the employees of the company's 78 restaurants, including Garfield's Restaurant & Pub, have raised over $47,000 during a two-week period for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. The money will go directly towards research to find a cure for diabetes.
Funds were raised through JDF sneaker sales at Eateries' restaurants, as well as from employee contributions, and employee participation in the JDF Oklahoma City Walk-a-Thon. $772.02 was raised by employees at the Garfield's in Cape Girardeau.
