EASTERN STAR SETS RECEPTION HERE THURSDAY

ZALMA -- The Order of Eastern Star chapters in the 49th District will hold an official reception Thursday at Zalma Masonic Temple.
The reception will honor Worthy Grand Matron Myrl Clemens of Keytesville, Worthy Grand Patron Jim Hensley of Bolivar, and other distinguished members of the order.
Clemens and Hensley are serving as presidng executive officers of the 48,000-member Eastern Star Grand Chapter of Missouri for 1992-93.

Activities for the evening include dinner at 5 p.m.; receiving line at 6:30; reception, program and entertainment at 7, followed by light refreshments.
Virginia James of Marble Hill, district deputy grand matron of the district, is directing plans for the reception.
The chapters of the district are: Zalma 509, Victory 431, Cape Rock 60, St. Mark's 167, Whitewater 174, Perryville 46, Oak Ridge 310, and Jackson 91.
