"Panhandle Eastern has been a member of these communities for almost 65 years," said Paul Anderson, president. "Our hearts go out to our neighbors and friends who have been forced from their homes by the flooding.

"While we can't replace the personal possessions lost to the floodwaters, our employees hope this donation will ease the hardship by helping people get their lives back to normal as quickly as possible," he said.

In addition to the donation, Panhandle Eastern and its employees have worked to contain rising floodwaters by donating time, equipment and facilities for the sandbagging efforts of many communities.
