The Easter Seal Society hopes to help people with disabilities achieve maximum independence.

The agency offers three main programs: the Early Learning Center for pre-school children with disabilities; vocational training for adults with disabilities; and a loan-a-seat program to provide a car safety seat to any family with a child who needs one.

The Early Learning Center is the portion of Easter Seal Society that receives United Way funds.

The agency is also involved in education and public-relations programs for people with disabilities.

Easter Seal Society is considering a new program called "Watch Me Grow." it would target high-risk newborns specifically, with follow-through during the early years of the child's life.
