Each age group will have 30 to 45 minutes to hunt. This year's hunt, which is free and open to the public, also will have a prize give-away for those who find the secret eggs. Children must provide their own basket and parents should escort smaller children if needed. Prizes will be awarded immediately following the hunt.

The Scott City Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with Burger King, will host their egg hunt in the Main Park, beginning at 10 a.m. Festivities will culminate with a special appearance by the Easter Bunny. More than 500 decorated eggs will have been laid by the Easter Bunny on park grounds. There will be several surprise golden Easter eggs filled with a variety of prizes.

If it rains on April 3, the Scott City event will be held at the Horseshoe Pavilion in the park.
