EAST PRAIRIE CENTER HOSTS QUILT SHOW THIS WEEKEND

EAST PRAIRIE -- The East Prairie Nutrition Center will host its third annual quilt show Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
It will be held at the Doyle Elementary Multipurpose Room.

More than 100 quilts were on display at the center during the 1998 event, and more are expected this year.
Show hours at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
A "Double Wedding Ring" quilt will be raffled during the event. The quilt top was provided to the center by the late Zola Cummings, and quilted by the Nutrition Center Quilters.
