Funeral for Earl Chester McDaniel of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate, with burial in Cape County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the chapel from 9 a.m. until service time.
McDaniel, 92, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 1999, at the Lutheran Home.

He was born March 10, 1907, in Bollinger County, son of Jessie Dundis and Nettie Elizabeth Sikes McDaniel. He and Carrie S. Stella were married June 6, 1930, in Jonesboro, Ark. She died May 5, 1988.
McDaniel had been a welder at Caterpillar. He was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Bearl McDaniel of Scott City; two sisters, Verline Chiles of Mississippi, and Lena Simmons of California.
