According to the Dunklin County Sheriff's office, a man who escaped from custody Tuesday morning has been apprehended.
At about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder took Wilburn Monroe Holliman Jr., 29, back into custody.
Holder said in a statement released to the newspaper that "Mr. Holliman was captured in the 400 block of North Main Street…He was hiding in a bedroom area of a two-story apartment."
The sheriff said Holliman escaped from a probation officer while he was in the Dunklin County Division II Court on charges of stealing and endangering the welfare of a child.
