The Jackson Municipal Band will hold its final in a series of weekly concerts gazebo Thursday at 8 p.m. One more program will wait until the opening session of Jackson Homecomers on Aug. 17.
Mike Dumey will be the special guest for Thursday's program. He's producing a new dinner theatre featuring "Spotlight Tonight."
The bands portion of the concert will include: "Africa," "The Red Mill," and a march written especially for the band and dedicated to Carl Penzel entitled "Tribute." The program will also contain "Big Horn Boogie," "Tin Pan Alley," Sousa's "Army and Marine Concert March," and other numbers.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
