A Marquand, Mo., woman sustained moderate injuries Sunday night, and a Perryville, Mo., man was seriously injured Monday afternoon in accidents investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Lisa Braschler, 36, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after the 9:50 p.m. accident Sunday. It occurred on County Road 224, one mile north of Lowndes, Mo.

According to the highway patrol, Braschler's vehicle ran off the road and overturned after she lost control of it. She was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, driving without insurance and not wearing a seat belt.

The other accident occurred at 1:35 p.m. Monday in Ste. Genevieve County on Route N, about a mile south of Route NN. Jason Hahn, 24, of Perryville was seriously injured and was taken to St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis by Arch Helicopter.

According to the highway patrol, Hahn's vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the edge of the road. The vehicle then struck a ditch and returned to the road before overturning, the patrol said.
