A Jackson man suffered serious injuries Friday morning after a two-vehicle accident on Highway 25, two miles south of Jackson.
Matthew Davis, 36, was driving south in a 2001 Buick LeSabre when he rear-ended a 2001 Ford truck that had stopped to make a left turn, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The truck's driver, 31-year-old Drew Benton of Jackson, was not injured, the patrol said.
Davis was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center, the patrol said. He was not wearing a seat belt.
