JACKSON -- A vehicle accident involving a farm tractor caused injury to the driver of a truck that also was involved in the wreck Tuesday west of Jackson, said the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Eugene Cosma, 57, of Fredericktown, received minor injuries in the accident and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, the patrol reported.
The accident happened at 4:04 p.m. on Highway 34 one mile west of Jackson.
Cosma was driving a truck on Highway 34 when Joe Meyer, 77, of Jackson, drove a John Deere farm tractor into the path of the truck, said the patrol. Meyer was trying to cross the highway from a private drive, the patrol said.
