A summer class in driver education will be taught at Cape Girardeau Central Senior High School starting June 10.
The course will not carry high school credit, however it will meet the requirements for reduced car insurance rates. Thirty hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel experience will be provided.
All students must be 15 years of age or over at the time the course starts. The cost per student is $95.
The first meeting will be held in the driver training building beginning at 8 a.m. June 10.
Students wishing to enroll may do so at the high school athletic director's office weekdays. Checks should be made to Cape Girardeau Central High School.
Grades will be issued on a pass-fail basis.
