Downtown Cape Girardeau will be showcased during the fourth annual Downtown Historic Home and Garden Tour, to be from noon to 4 p.m. May 18.
The tour highlights the residential aspect and promotes interest in downtown living. Six houses and one bonus house will be featured. The homeowners will give guided tours highlighting special features and historic facts. The featured houses are:
* The Oliver-Leming House, 740 North St.
* The Broadway Loft, 609 Broadway.
* The Schott Home, 107 N. Frederick St.
* The Becking Home, 25 N. Fountain St.
* Vasterling Suites, 115 N. Fountain St.
* The Hutson Condo, 245 Aquamsi St.
The Huhn-Harrison Home at 340 S. Lorimier St., which is now West Bank Bistro, is the bonus house.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the tour and are available at Old Town Cape, Annie-Laurie's Antiques, Spanish Street Mercantile and Realty Executives. The tour is organized by Old Town Cape and sponsored by Realty Executives. For more information, visit oldtowncape.org/events.
