DONGOLA WOMAN DIES IN WRECK
A Dongola, Ill., woman died after a one-car accident near Anna, Ill., early Thursday morning. At 6:55 a.m., Sherry Williamson, 22, was driving south on Christian Chapel Road one mile south of Route 146 in Union County when she apparently lost control of her car on a curve, left the road and overturned into a creek, according to the Illinois State Police.

The site of the crash is just west of Interstate 57 behind a Travel Hut.
An ambulance took her to Union County Hospital in Anna. She was pronounced dead at 7:42 a.m.
The state police had not determined the cause of the accident.
