BENTON -- To help provide a substance-free graduation party for students, Kelly High School in Benton is planning its fifth Project Graduation.
Project Graduation was developed in 1983 to help stop deaths and disabilities caused by drinking-and-driving accidents at graduation parties.
Last year about 90 percent of the senior class participated in Project Graduation at the school. The students raise part of the money for the party by working at local fairs. Other funds are donated by the community.
To help with Kelly's Project Graduation, send donations to Project Graduation 1995; Kelly High School, Attention: Debra Sander, P.O. Box 98, Benton, Mo. 63736.
