Two dogs and a slew of electronics were among items stolen from a Cape Girardeau home Monday afternoon.
According to officer Darin Hickey, spokesman for the Cape Girardeau Police Department, a woman entered her home at 803 S. Ellis St. at about 6:30 p.m. to discover it had been burglarized.
The victim reported the following items missing: two female pit bulls, a laptop computer, PlayStation 3 with games, a Nextbook tablet, a Kindle Fire, an iPod, a television set and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The victim said she had been home all day until she left her home in the afternoon before returning to find it burglarized.
